Saturday is a special day.
It’s the day we get ready for Sunday:
We clean the house, and we shop at the store,
So we won’t have to work until Monday.
We brush our clothes, and we shine our shoes,
And we call it our get-the-work-done day.
Then we trim our nails, and we shampoo our hair,
So we can be ready for Sunday!
It sure has been a long day here at the Bucklein home. We jumped on the trampoline, listened to fits being thrown by a certain 6 yr old who shall not be named. Then I packed a few more boxes, cleaned off 2 desks, visited the neighbor's yard sale, bought 2 couches, carried our 2 couches over to the neighbor's house to sell, moved the new couches inside, vacuumed the floor where the old ones were, vacuumed the new couches (Nate did this), sprayed the couches with Febreeze, cleaned 2 bathrooms (Nate and Marshall did that), and found more stuff to put out at the yard sale. Phew! It was a lot, and my back is killing me! Now I just need to get laundry done, and then move the washer and dryer so I can mop up the detergent that spilled while we were gone. It has been a good, productive day.
