It is an interesting thing about us Mormons. We stick together. Almost anywhere you go in this big world, you can find an LDS church to attend. (The full name of our church is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, or LDS for short. People call us Mormons because of The Book of Mormon.) Some places you have to travel farther than others but no matter where you go, the religion is the same. Perhaps that is why we tend to feel a connection with others of our faith, even if we've never met them.
Yesterday I learned of a terrible accident involving an LDS couple. Christian and Stephenie Nielson were involved in a private airplane crash. They have 4 young children that were not with them at the time. Please pray for this young family. The parents are in critical condition in a burn unit of a hospital in Arizona. As of yesterday they were upgraded from trauma patients to burn victims. This won't be an easy road for them, but it appears they are going to recover.
I have been just worried sick about them, but I know that they will be healed through the power or prayer. They are amazing people, and it's so nice to see how many people recognize it.
