We all need a reminder that we have to finish strong. This man spoke to some kids and inspired them to never give up trying.
For those of you who don't have much time for the news, here's a great year-end review by Uncle Jay. No, he's not my uncle, that's just what he calls himself. He sings this one and I think it's the best because I learn so much better (and retain more) when it's put to music. :)

Seriously though Nick's story is just so touching. He is totally incredible. There is a substitute teacher here in my area that reminds me of Nick, only he has a little flipper on his shoulder for an arm, his legs are just very, very short. He does assemblies and show the children how he does things. The resiliency of the human spirit sometimes just amazes me!!
This young man came to speak to Monica/Amanda's High School. My girls were VERY inspired by his words and actions---as little as they are! My girls were also very excited to get their hugs from this beautiful man after the show. Thanks for posting the video...I had only seen photos of him 'til now.
